Frequently asked questions.
Who picks the puppy?
A Personalized Approach to Finding Your Soulmate Puppy
We believe that a successful placement comes from an informed match, which is why we personally select the puppy for your family.
As the ones who spend every day with them, we know these puppies intimately. We analyze their personality, observe their tendencies, and test them in diverse environments.
To facilitate the best match, we ask families to provide detailed information about your lifestyle, including your home environment, daily activities, specific goals (such as therapy or sport work), and the ages of everyone in your household.
This careful and thoughtful process allows us to unite each unique puppy with the family where they are destined to thrive. The match is based on a blend of your preferences, the puppy's individual nature, and our expert observations of the entire litter.
How much are your puppies?
Our puppies are $2700. plus HST. We take a $400. deposit to secure your puppy, the remaining is due on or before picking up your puppy. Sold on a non- Breeding contract.
Are your puppies CKC registered?
Yes, we are members in good standing with the CKC.
Buying a CKC registered dog provides proof of the dog's purebred lineage, offers legal proof of ownership, and ensures the puppy comes from a breeder who adheres to a code of ethics, often including health testing. Registration also provides access to the registry's resources, such as training guides, member-only discounts on services like microchipping, and a community for breed-specific activities.
Do you health test your dogs?
Yes, we health test all our breeding parents through the OFA, Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. We test Hips, Elbows, Heart and Eyes. We also do DNA testing through Embark to check for genetic disorders. Health testing is crucial to top quality ethical breeding. Currently this is above CKC requirements.
How do I get on the waiting list?
To be on our waiting list you need to fill out our puppy questionnaire. Once approved we will email you, then if you would like we will add you to our waiting list.
Can we come meet the puppies?
We start allowing puppy visits after the puppies are 4 weeks old, never before. During the visits we ask that you don’t pick up any of the puppies.
